Ski-for-Life
The Ski-for-Life Program is aimed at providing athletes aged 10 to 18 the ‘FUNdamentals’ of skiing by building on the skills gained through the Nancy Greene Program or through their own experiences. The goal is to foster a love of the sport while developing lifelong skiing ability and enabling athletes to continue to gain ski racing skills.
Although this is a less competitive program than the North Bay Ski Team, it is still a ski racing-focused program enabling athletes to participate in local and out-of-town races. All Ski-for-Life racers will participate in our local Antoine Mountain race and have the options to travel to out-of-town races and skill training days. The focus of training days and events is to develop skiing ability, foster love of the sport, make friends, participate in friendly, supportive competition, and most importantly have fun!
At the U14, U16, and U19 levels, athletes have the opportunity to ski SL, GS, Speed, and Dual in local and divisional competitions or skills days/camps.
Does your child love skiing or racing but none of our program schedules work for you? Or are you not sure what program is best for your athlete?
